Fintech SaaS Gateway Launch

Structuring a dual-license setup and securing payment gateway pre-approvals for a European SaaS provider in Meydan Free Zone.

Project Overview

A prominent European subscription billing SaaS provider aimed to establish a Middle Eastern operational base in Dubai. They required a corporate structure capable of executing credit card merchant billing while keeping setup and license costs optimized.

Client Challenge

Opening corporate bank accounts for tech-based SaaS operations in the UAE can face intense KYC checks. Additionally, leading payment processors require physical office Ejari (lease registrations) and certified articles of association mapping specifically to online merchant activities.

Solution Implemented

We structured a custom single-shareholder Meydan Free Zone entity, mapping their activity parameters specifically to “SaaS and Digital Portals”.

We drafted custom shareholder bylaws, leased a compliant co-working flexi-desk address, pre-screened their corporate files with Wio Business relationship managers, and coordinated gateway integration approvals with Stripe’s UAE compliance managers.

Bank pre-approval success

“We were warned that setting up bank accounts for a digital SaaS brand in Dubai would take months. Antigravity’s advisory team managed our files, introduced us to key relationship managers, and got us fully licensed and collecting credit card transactions in 2 weeks.”
